Value of Mental Health Services for Chinese Students

Chinese international students studying in Canada often face unique mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, cultural transition problems, academic pressure, and social isolation. Addressing these issues is crucial for their overall well-being and academic achievement. By offering resources in Chinese, YMHC aims to provide better support and understanding to these students.

Since 2013, YMHC has been committed to promoting mental well-being, resilience, and hope among youth. Our range of instructional materials, seminars, presentations, and training courses is tailored to meet the needs of students, families, and professionals in educational and community settings.

Our materials are peer-reviewed by mental health professionals, evidence-based, and strength-oriented. These materials are available in print, digital fillable, and photocopiable editions, as well as in English, French, and now Chinese.
