In today’s rapidly evolving educational landscape, supporting student mental wellness has never been more crucial. Youth Mental Health Canada (YMHC) recognizes this need and offers comprehensive workshops tailored for students from elementary to postsecondary levels. Our workshops are designed to empower students with the tools and strategies they need to navigate their mental health challenges and thrive in their academic and personal lives.

Understanding the Need for Mental Health Workshops in Schools

One in five young people in Canada faces a mental health challenge or disability, affecting their ability to learn and succeed. YMHC’s workshops address this critical issue by providing both virtual and in-person sessions that cater to the unique needs of students. Our workshops cover a wide range of topics, including emotional awareness, resilience building, coping strategies, and creating personal wellness action plans.

Popular Workshop Topics

Some of our most sought-after workshops include:

  • Inside Out: Talking about Feelings and Coping Strategies (Kindergarten to Grade 4)
  • Creating a Personal Wellness Action Plan
  • Building Sources of Strength and Resilience
  • Understanding Mental Health Challenges
  • School-Wide Strategies to Support Student Wellness
