Mental Health Tools & Resources

The mental wellness tools and resources that Sheryl has developed increase accessibility, awareness, skills development, and coping strategies for all people.

Motivated by the fact that approximately 446 youth aged 10 to 24 die by suicide every year in Canada, the third highest youth suicide rate in the industrialized world, Sheryl Boswell produced youth mental wellness tools and resources to place them in the hands of those who need them.

The resources have attracted international acclaim and interest. By invitation to the bi-annual International Association for Youth Mental Health Conference, Sheryl proudly showcased the youth mental health wellness resources in Australia in October 2019.

Sheryl also showcased the guidebook she wrote on supporting students with school phobia for families and schools at the International Network for School Attendance conference in the Netherlands in 2022.

The resources are evidence, strength, and hope-based, incorporating international best practices in mental health including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and Social-Emotional Learning.
